- My family is awesome! – I live in Colorado and have been married to my husband Mark for 18 years and we have two really cool kids, Katie (15) & Allie (10).
- Passions – I love hanging out with my family, gardening (flowers and vegetables), cooking, traveling and painting.
- I love to travel – I have been to Australia, Japan, Italy, Fiji, Canada, Mexico, the Virgin Islands, and would like to go to Greece next year.
- I love animals – I have a Sheltie named Haley, a rabbit, and LOTS of fish.
- I love to learn – I have a B.S. in Business Administration/Finance from Colorado State University (go Rams!), a Masters degree in Secondary Education from the University of Phoenix and am close to finishing a B.S. in Marketing at Metro State.
- Entertainment – I really like to watch stupid comedies (movies and TV shows) – My favorite shows are True Blood, Modern Family, Glee, Suburgatory, CSI Miami, and Bones. I don’t watch much reality TV unless I want to feel better about my own life and need a reminder that I am not as messed up as I thought I was.
- Career – I worked at Wells Fargo in Banking & Investments for 11 years before becoming a teacher – I love to teach!
- Favorite Foods – My favorite type of cuisine is Mexican food although I really like Asian and Italian as well….and don’t forget chocolate.
- Personality – I have a strange sense of humor, am very sarcastic, and have a habit of bursting into song at the oddest times. I am definitely an extrovert.
- Faith – I am a Christian and attend CHCC and volunteer teaching Sunday school to little 3-4 year olds and help with Teen MOPS.
